2024 Dyess Spouses' Club Scholarship Application
NOW Closed

The Dyess Spouses' Club is a private volunteer organization serving Dyess Air Force Base. The club has a long-standing tradition of offering annual scholarships to military spouses and dependents. Awards are based on academics, essay submission, leadership, and citizenship. Our goal is to identify and reward well-rounded students who often are faced with unique challenges as military dependents.

Once all packets are received, they are judged by an impartial panel comprised of local volunteers. The results are compiled by the DSC Scholarship Committee to determine the amount of money given to each winner. Packets are kept anonymous throughout the entire judging process.

Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited four-year college or  university, two-year community college, or vocational program in the summer or fall of 2024

  • A married legal spouse or current dependent of an active duty, retired, or deceased military member assigned to Dyess AFB or residing in the Dyess AFB area

  • Have not received a prior scholarship from DSC

  • May not be receiving scholarships in excess of the cost of tuition, room and board, books, and fees

Applications were accepted from Wednesday, November 15, 2023 - February, 16, 2024.
